"good luck, and good riddance"

Thanks to my brother Nathan, we've been singing that all week.
A post about that line, as well as all the other fun we've had, will be coming shortly.

Really, though, our feelings are the opposite.
We have had the most wonderful time
with my family here this last week, and oh how I wish they could stay for much longer.

I mean, what other house guests come and do all the
cooking, cleaning, dishes, babysitting,
plus help clear out our front yard and weed the back?

We played, we laughed, we sang,
we toured and toobed and barbecued.
Our little family has loved every minute of it.

It's been the best.
